E. R. Whitehead, CEO
E. R. (Reggie) Whitehead has been with the company for 47 years and has been its President and Chief Financial Officer for 39 years. Due to health problems facing Everett, Sr., Reggie took command of the company in 1974 and purchased the company later in 1974. Until this time the company was known primarily as an exclusive home builder along with some commercial work.
Reggie began transforming the company into a commercial - industrial company along with upscale homes. The company has thrived under his leadership and has maintained a solid reputation as a quality construction company.
E. Ryan Whitehead, President
Ryan has been with Whitehead Construction since 1990, and has been in the industry full time since 1996. He now serves as President and his duties include project executive for all projects, estimating, client negotiations, project management, and business management. Ryan currently serves on the Bartow Hospital Advisory Board. A 1994 graduate of Winter Haven Hign School, Ryan attended PSC and went on to earn his state contractor license. Working side by side with his father, Reggie, has prepared Ryan to lead the company for a third generation.
Wendy Whitehead Venters, Corporate Secretary
Wendy has been with the company for 18 years. In addition to serving as the corporate secretary (Officer) she also is the Human Resources Manager and Safety Director for Everett Whitehead & Son, Inc.
Mindy Adams, Estimating and Project Management
Mindy has 18 years experience in the construction industry and is a LEED Green Associate. She comes to us after a long term local position in residential and commercial construction. Prior to relocating to Polk County, Mindy held a Project Management position with a multi-million dollar homebuilder in the Tampa Bay area.
Wayne Mullen, Estimating and Project Management
Wayne is a graduate of The University of Florida School of Building Construction, is a Certified General Contractor, a LEED Accredited Professional and has his OSHA 30 Hour certification. He comes to us with 15 years experience in the construction industry and is familiar with a vast array of project delivery methods including Construction Management, Construction Management at Risk, Guaranteed Maximum Price, Design Build and Hard Bid. Waynes experience with all aspects of the construction process has made him a valuable asset to our company.
Chris Szucs, Project Managment
Chris has 14 years experience in the construction industry and handles the day to day project coordination of our superintendents and field employees. Chris is also responsible for overseeing field operations and involved in the sales and coordination of our concrete jobs. Chris's experience is not only valuable to the company, but also to our customers.
Fanny Farmer, Accounting
Fanny comes to us with over 27 years of experience in the Construction Industry and after a long term employment as Controller of a Florida custom home builder. Fanny has her Masters in accounting and holds a State of Florida Real Estate License.
Lisa Heffron, Receptionist
Lisa is the friendly voice you hear when you call Everett Whitehead & Son, Inc., and works at the front desk. In addition to handling multiple incoming lines and the day to day office needs, Lisa is always willing to jump in where needed and wear a multitude of hats.
