Everett Whitehead & Son, Inc., was awarded the contract on the Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida thru the competitive bid process. The building consisted of two operating rooms, recovery rooms, laser treatment rooms, x-ray, lens grinding lab, multiple exam rooms, offices, and waiting rooms, totaling 27,000 s.f. The Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida is located on Avenue K, SE, in Winter Haven. Since the completion of this project Everett Whitehead and Son, Inc., has been selected by the Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida to construct facilities in other locations (Sebring & Clermont), as well as projects that are currently in the planning process.
